Solution Assessment Services

	Although Spectron's Core DASH System will satisfy the testing requirements of any aircraft display, most often specific displays require the development of custom Fixturing, Self-Alignment Systems and Accessories. For this reason Spectron has streamlined the process for initiating new DASH System orders by providing the following Solution Assessment Service as a forum for our customers to attain a comprehensive estimate of the cost and time required to complete a specific solution: Spectron will incorporate, wherever possible, previously developed and standard fixture components in the new order. If a relatively minor modification to an existing component can serve the user's requirement, this will be done, and the Accessory Group price will be adjusted up or down to reflect the cost of production for the modified unit. If a major modification to an existing component can serve the user's requirement, a Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) charge for the modification will be agreed upon and the Accessory Group price will be adjusted up or down to reflect the cost of production for the modified unit. If an entirely new unit must be developed to meet the user's requirement, Spectron will separately contract for a prototype unit based on a mutually agreed upon Statement of Work. Typical pricing for the prototype unit will include a price for the unit, a NRE charge for development, and a T&M funding provision for training, interface, and rework requirements. Upon successful development of the prototype, Spectron will then provide fixed pricing for follow-on production units.
